Machetes

A machete is a cutting tool, also used as a weapon; it is like a long knife, but shorter than a sword.

Commonly measured less than 60 cm and has a single edge. It is used to mow the grass, cut the sugar cane, prune plants or as a weapon.

Generally, the cutting edge is very acute in the third of the blade closest to the tip. The tip of the machete sticking out slightly above the rest of the blade. The front of the machete is curved.

There is also another type of machete whose front is pointed and sharpen the last third of the blade from both banks. It is especially used for cutting brush and mowing grass.
