Hatchet

The hatchet is a type of axe. It consists of a hand grip of wood with a spike at the bottom and an area enveloped by the upper part to the area of the hand. The sheet covers the area of the wooden handle with a metallic piece most broad in the area of union with the handle, and a spike at the top; the rear area of the sheet is a triangular piece finished off with a tip inclined downward and the front part of the blade is a piece finished in a curved cut sharp at its edge.

Among its uses, is the kitchen to produce clean cuts.
